The versos show music on a large red 4-line staff and text in a gothic rotunda hand.
Drawn in tempera and colored inks with gold leaf.
The miniatures have been attributed to the Cremonese "Maestro dai fondi giallini".

The Houghton Library accession number 90M-16 and former Fogg Art Museum accession numbers should no longer be used in referring to these fragments. The Fogg Museum numbers correspond to the present item numbers as follows: 1916.16 = no. 1; 1916.20 = no. 2.
