Issued to the Benedictine abbey of St. Michael in Mondsee, Austria.
Dated Avignon 6 May 1336, and signed by 15 cardinals (but not Pope Benedict XII).
The text of the indulgence is written in a gothic book-hand in brownish ink in long lines.
Around the text, and historiating the initial U, are large miniatures of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Christ, Sts. Peter and Paul, Benedict, John the Baptist, and Michael the archangel.
Seals formerly laced into the bottom of the document are now missing.
