Written in a humanistic script in 1 column of 33 lines with marginal notations in pale red; title page with large gilt initial and border in white-vine decoration and with arms of Pope Sixtus IV; 1 half-page miniature of the pope enthroned, surrounded by a cardinal and 3 Augustinian monks, with a portrait medallion within a white-vine border (f. 2r); 14 gilt historiated initials representing the pope blessing.
Letter is dated Rome, 1475 (f. 17r).
