Volume 1: text; bound in 20th-century stamped white pigskin and housed in a tray case, 27 cm. Volume 2: original binding, 18th-century brown Italian calf.
Written in a rounded protogothic book script in brown ink in one column with marginal and interlinear gloss; headings in orange, blanks remain for initials. Marginal notes added in lead point in a later hand.
Written at the Cistercian monastery of S. Mary, Morimondo, Italy.
Cf. a glossed gospel of Mark, also copied at Morimondo, in the Grenville Kane collection.
Biblical text was copied without chapter divisions.
