Includes the Exultet hymn for the Easter vigil, with musical notation on a 2-line staff, ff. 80v-85r. Leaves are wanting at the end of the ms. Written in two different, large minuscule hands in brown ink in one column, 18 lines per page. There are marginal notes in other hands. Written probably in the Cistercian monastery of S. Maria di Morimondo near Milan: cf. MS Typ 223 and Light, 27-9. Initial letters in various sizes are in blue, red, and green, and decorated. A few (e.g. on f. 9v) are zoomorphic. Vellum strip (from an earlier binding?) laid in, cut from a printed (17th-cent.?) marriage licence. Rebound with alum taw spine and wooden boards.
