Title from explicit.
Written in southern Italy in Molfetta (prov. Bari), with an interlinear gloss, and completed on 30 Jan. 1466 (colophon, f. 79v). Naples followed the style of the Incarnation so the 1465 recorded in the colophon is actually 1466; one colored initial.
Incorrectly paginated in a modern hand at upper right corner.
In a 16th-cent. Italian vellum over stiff pasteboard.
In a tray case, 24 cm.
MS Lat 188. Houghton Library, Harvard University.
Also available in an electronic version.
Folios missing at end of the manuscript are now New York, Columbia University, Plimpton MS 23, Latin translation of Aesop's Fables by Lorenzo Valla. The manuscript was separated sometime after 1914.
