Rules (layout features) - Written in a regular textualis semi-quadrata script in 1 column of 15 lines; liturgical calendar (full, with entries in burnished gold, and alternating in blue and rose) of 17 lines. 17 miniatures with painted vignettes (f. 27r) or painted borders of acanthus leaves and flowers; 1 historiated initial, numerous decorated initials on burnished gold ground, and smaller initials with pen flourishes. Written and illuminated in northern France.
