F. 3 should come before f. 2. After f. 6 four leaves are wanting, and after f. 11, two leaves.
Written in various cursive hands, the texts following the Schachzabelbuch being in different hands from the main text.
The Schachzabelbuch is illustrated with 12 large miniatures in ink, tempera and gold, of people in various callings.
Bound in quarter calf, the lower board being the original of thick wood covered in red pigskin. Bosses and clasps are now missing.
In a red morocco slipcase, 25 cm.
