The materials in the household management collection were acquired by the Schlesinger Library from George Gregory Smart in February 2006 and Linda Lacy in December 2017. Additional materials were transferred from the Schlesinger Library Printed Materials Department in 2018 and 2023 and were given to the library by Kelley Gove in November 2023 and by Susan Ward in November 2023.
