Folders were created and arranged alphabetically by the archivist.

BIOGRAPHY

Carolyn Kupferschmidt Farthing began attending La Leche League meetings in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1972, following the birth of her first child. She continued her involvement with the organization following moves to West Trenton, New Jersey, in 1976, and to Holland, Pennsylvania, in 1978. In 1977, she became a La Leche League Leader for the Ewing, New Jersey, group. She helped start a group in Holland, Pennsylvania, in 1979, which eventually became the Yardley/Morrisville group, and continued to work with the group in a leadership role until her resignation from La Leche League in the mid-1980s.
