BIOGRAPHY

Rosa Delgadillo, daughter of José Merced and Francisca Tejeda Delgadillo, was born February 22, 1912, in Mechoacanejo, Jalisco, Mexico. Her family moved to the United States in December 1912, eventually settling in Los Angeles, California. Delgadillo attended Los Angeles public schools and graduated from Inglewood Union High School in 1931.
