Much of the material was collected by Becker in her role as a member of Women's Alliance Against Pornography.
BIOGRAPHY
Rhea Becker, a longtime journalist based in the Boston area, turned to activism in 1984 when she became involved with the city of Cambridge's anti-pornography ballot measure. She went on to work on similar ballot measures in Washington State and Minnesota. She worked as communications manager at Culture Reframed, a nonprofit organization dedicated to "solving the public health crisis of the digital age by building resilience and resistance in young people to hypersexualized media and pornography."
