The Radcliffe College papers of Catharine Prince Roth include class notes, papers, and exams; awards and related correspondence, including correspondence relating to awards that she was ineligible for due to her gender; and a photograph album documenting residential life at Radcliffe College. Most of the photographs in this collection are or will be digitized and available online. Files are arranged alphabetically.

BIOGRAPHY

Catharine Prince Roth, daughter of David C. Prince, Jr., and Augusta Alger Prince, was born in Salem, Massachusetts. She received an AB in Classics from Radcliffe College in 1967, a master's degree from Newnham College, Cambridge, England, and a PhD in classical philology from Harvard University in 1972. She married Gary Edward Roth (he later took the name of Gregory) in 1971; they had two children, Nate and Margaret. Roth has held teaching positions at several colleges and universities including the University of Washington, Wittenberg University, the University of California, Davis, Community Colleges of Spokane, and Eastern Washington University.
