The majority of the collection includes material related to child abuse, rape, and domestic violence against women. The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by subject.
HISTORY
The Center for Women Policy Studies is an independent national multiethnic and multi-cultural feminist policy research and advocacy institution founded in 1972. The Center seeks to promote justice and equality for women through research publications, convening of conferences and seminars, and other advocacy efforts. The Center focuses on issues that have significant future implications for women including addiction, recovery, mental health issues, domestic violence, co-dependency, and eating disorders. The Center aims to incorporate the perspectives of women in the formation of public policy.
