BIOGRAPHY

Midwife and author, Bette L. Waters graduated from Lauder University and South Carolina School of Nurse-Midwifery. She worked as a midwife in Florida, Texas, and New Mexico from 1983 to 2001, when she retired in order to write full time. She is the author of several books including, Massage During Pregnancy, Sooo, You're Pregnant, Dream Boat Cruising, and Vaginal Politics, A Midwife's Story, An Oral History by Judy Lee as told to Bette Waters, which was adapted as a screenplay by Waters and Barry Dunleavey in 2008.
