1 folderThe collection consists of a volume containing recipes includes fish, soups, bread, cakes, puddings, preserves, cookies, mulled wine, and other foods. The volume also includes a recipe for cold cream and knitting instructions for baby clothes. Also included are Susie G. Larned Dorrance's children's birthdates, and the dates of their various illnesses and vaccinations.
BIOGRAPHY
Susie (or Susan) G. Larned Dorrance was born circa 1850 in Rhode Island. She married Charles Talbot Dorrance and lived with him in Providence, Rhode Island. They had four children: Mary, William, Charles, and Herbert. She died in 1924.
