Extent

3.13 linear feet ((7+1/2 file boxes) plus 1 folio folder, 1 photograph folder)

Collection documents the history of Holly Williams Bundock's family and is mostly composed of correspondence between Holly Williams Bundock and her parents and siblings (1969-2012). This correspondence, primarily letters to Bundock, reflects her aging parent's and siblings' interests, travels, and activities, and discusses mutual family and friends. Bundock's nephew, Daniel Hotis Greeley, was born with significant health issues, and his medical care is discussed at length. Correspondence also reflects the relationship between Bundock and her parents and siblings, particularly their interest in her work, travels, and well-being following her divorce. The collection includes a birthday book, World War II scrapbook, and travel writings from trips throughout North America (1946-2005) of Bundock's mother, Carolyn Hotis Williams, as well as essays and writings by her father, Donald Hathaway Williams. In addition, the collection contains material documenting Bundock's extended family, including: photographs; genealogies and family records; diaries of great aunt Sarah Hillman Hotis (1937 and 1957); diary of grandmother Mattie Hathaway Williams (1894); and accounts of the military career and life of Bundock's great-grandfather Daniel Williams, edited by Carolyn Hotis Williams. Many of the folder titles were created by the archivist; original folder titles created by Bundock appear in quotation marks.
