Biographical Note

Joyce E. Monac (1949-) is a pediatrician affiliated with Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. She received her medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School (now the UMass Chan Medical School), Worcester in 1981 and has been in practice for more than 20 years. In 1975 she worked in Jack Spengler's lab in the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard School of Public Health (now the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health), Boston, Massachusetts.

In 2005, she married Gregory F. Resker (1951-2021), an entrepreneur and consultant.

Gifted to the Harvard Medical Library by Joyce E. Monac in 2021 (Accession #2022-073).
