Biography

Charles Bullard was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on August 5, 1869. He attended Somerville High School and graduated from Harvard in 1896. He was an assistant to William Gilson Farlow for many years. Bullard spent most of his life in Cambridge and never married. He joined the New England Botanical Club in 1921 and was an active member until his death on February 3, 1960.
