Cheshire Provident Institute for Savings records

Scope and Contents

Records of a savings bank in Keene, N.H. Includes minutes, journals, ledgers, cash books, loans, receipts and payments, letter books. The accounting series are unusually complete and include records of individual depositors. The bank was reorganized in 1898, and the records remained in the custody of the Cheshire County Superior Court.
