Tuttle Farm records

Scope and Contents

The records consist of six volumes pertaining to Tuttle Farm in Acton Massachusetts. Most of the volumes were maintained by James B. Tuttle. Expenses are for personal, household or farm items; income is generally from the sale of agricultural produce or stock dividends. Biographical / Historical

James B. Tuttle (1857-1931), son of James and Eliza (Jones) Tuttle, was a farmer in Acton, Massachusetts. The Tuttle family, one of the oldest families in Acton, was prominent in business and civic affairs for generations. James and his wife, Florence (1854-1940), lived on a farm in the town of his birth for almost sixty years.
