Access. Records are closed for 50 years from the date of creation except with the permission of the Dean of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Student records are closed for 80 years from the time of separation. Records must be screened by archivist before research use. Appointment may be required. Contact public services.

Copyright. Copyright in the records created by the Radcliffe College Office of the Administrative Vice-President is held by the President and Fellows of Harvard College for the Schlesinger Library. Copyright in other papers in the collection may be held by their authors, or the authors' heirs or assigns.
Copying. Records may be copied in accordance with the library's usual procedures.
Extent
9.17 linear feet (22 file boxes)Records from the tenure of J. Boyd Britton (1965-1971) document the overall management of Radcliffe, especially concerning property, liaison and merger with Harvard, government grants, supervision of dormitory personnel and food service, summer programs, and union negotiations.
In 2015, Boxes 8A and 8B were screened by an archivist. Some files were determined to need closure due to the presence of student or personnel records. These closures are noted in the inventory.
