There is a single print of the interior of the circus performance of Franconi’s circus. The images of theaters include: the Hippodrome, Hotel de Ville, Odeon Theatre, both the original and 1875 Paris Operas, Porte Sainte-Martin, Salle du Café Spectacle, Theatre de l’Ambigu, Theatre des Champs Elysees, Theatre Francais, Theatre des Italiens, Theatre de l’Opera and Bibliotheque due Roi, Theatre de l’Opera Comique, Theatre de la Republique, Theatre des Varietes, Theatre de Vaudeville, among others. Most of the materials are prints and newsclippings, along with some photographs from approximately 1875 of the Paris Opera and its inauguration.
