2 linear feet (17 volumes)

Extra-illustrated and extended to 17 folio volumes, with special letterpress title pages. Timbs' text extends from v. 1-13. The extra-illustrations include watercolors by J. T. Wilson and engravings by Isaac and George Cruikshank, Henry William Bunbury, Richard Dighton, John Faber, James Gillray, William Hogarth, Thomas Rowlandson, G. M. Woodward and others. Also included are pamphlets, broadsides and several issues of the Spectator for the years 1711-1712.

The entries include, first, the subject of the engraving or drawing, followed in parentheses by the name(s) of the artist and/or engraver.
