Also includes autograph letters, signed with epigrams on Albrecht Dürer from Johannes Sambucus (János Zsámboki), as well as memorial notices after the deaths of Plantin and Ortelius by Franciscus Raphelengius.

Ortelius was a Flemish geographer, of German origin, who completed the first modern atlas of the world.
