An autograph collection of letters written by English aristocrats, American politicians, authors, artists, educators, diplomats, and other prominent people to various Peabodys and Lawrences, especially Marian Lawrence Peabody and Bishop William Lawrence. Also contains a personal account book, 1841-1855, of merchant and manufacturer Abbott Lawrence and a guest list for a party in his honor.
