Letters written by Gannett include a letter to the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery about Elizabeth Palmer Peabody, and a response from the library. Collection also includes letter written by Gannett to the Editor of the New York Times, and newspaper clippings.

Biographical / Historical

Gannett was a journalist and author. For many years he wrote the daily book review column for the New York Herald Tribune.
