The bulk of this collection consists of Fiske's sermons and addresses. The collection is arranged according to Fiske's numerical organization of his sermons and addresses. The sermons and addresses were in envelopes indicating title, place, and/or date of delivery and this information is listed below. The majority of these sermons are from his settlements in Rutland, Vermont, and Hutchison, Kansas. There is also some correspondence and other papers. Finally, there are some envelopes with titles, but no text is included. They are arranged at the end of the collection.

Biographical / Historical

Albert Rantoul Fiske (1885-1961) was born in Newfields, New Hampshire. He attended Meadville, Canton, and Lombard Theological Schools. Fiske was ordained to the Universalist ministry in 1906, and served parishes in Sherman and Southold, New York; Rutland, Vermont; Hutchison, Kansas; and Avon, Galesburg, Rockford, and Springfield, Illinois.
