Accounts of sundry investments include "adventures" in numerous ships, opium accounts, accounts of manufacturing, insurance, railroad and real estate interests, as well as substantial accounts with Bryant & Sturgis . The collection also includes correspondence, 1857-1862, household accounts, and papers relating to his will.
