In many cases, Baker Library does not hold the copyright to the materials in its collections. Researchers are responsible for determining copyright status and identifying and contacting any copyright holders for permission to reproduce or publish content from collections. Baker Library has included the names of third-party copyright holders at the folder and item level when known.
Extent
23.25 linear feet (15 boxes, 1 oversize box, 5 mapcase folders)The collection consists of subject file and event photographs collected by the HBS Archives depicting academic, professional and social activities at Harvard Business School. The collection has been organized into two subseries: A. Subject Files and B. Events. Subject files consist of general photographs of HBS functions and activities such as the Summer Case Writers sessions, the Fatigue Laboratory, and the Doctoral Program, among many other topics. Event photographs include specific HBS activities such as commencement, colloquiums, conferences, anniversaries, and other HBS events. Many images in the collection were used for HBS Bulletin articles, and other publications
Note that many photographs of building dedications can be found with the HBS Archives Buildings and Grounds photographs.
